Grenade attack on Congress
headquarters in Srinagar

Militants hurled a grenade at the Congress headquarters on Maulana Azad Road in Srinagar on Tuesday.

Two Central Industrial Security Force jawans were hurt in the attack, which took place when a campaign vehicle of the Congress was entering the premises.

Police cordoned of the area and senior officials had rushed to the spot.
