The Tiwari family owns a small tract of land on which they raise potatoes, bajra, corn and cabbage. They have now installed what is known in local parlance as polyhouses, which protect the crop from the vagaries of the natural elements. The corn which Asha, Vijay's sister, is roasting, though, is the kind courtesy of a neighbour. "Our corn," smiles Asha, "is not ready yet." NEXT BACK | |||
