Twenty-six-year old Puran Chand is the first person we talk to in the village. He is taciturn, very, very pro-Narain Dutt Tiwari and reluctant to pose for the camera. But he does unbend enough to tell us that the entire village supports Tiwari. It is only later that we find out he is the son of Tiwari's cousin, Durga Dutt.
