New Zealand go into the final day of the first Test against India in Ahmedabad, chasing a target of 370 runs. If the Kiwis achieve the target, it will be their highest successful run chase.

The highest total New Zealand has chased successfully against India so far is 215, which they scored in 1998 in New Zealand.

The current New Zealand record for all-time successful run chase in the fourth innings stands at 324, which they achieved against Pakistan at the Jade Stadium in New Zealand in 1994.

Before the current Test match at Ahmedabad, New Zealand had played 303 Tests, winning 53, losing 119, and drawing 131, giving them a win percentage of 17.49
