The West Indian renaissance?

In the last four years the West Indies have played 45 Tests, won 11, lost 24, drawn 10 (Win percentage - 24.44). Of those 11 victories, five have come in the last year. Which takes their winning percentage up to 35.71.

It's been slow but steady progress for the men from the Caribbean, with some help from known and unknown quarters. Brian Lara and Shivnaraine Chanderpaul have shored up the batting in the past, but that was when they had some quality support. A look at a few players who were the difference between winning and losing.
