Steve Waugh's 121 not out was his 23rd hundred of his career in 131 matches and becomes the 4th Australian after Don Bradman (29), Allan Border (27) AND Greig Chappell(24) and the 8th batsman in Test history to score 23 or more hundreds.

When McGrath was caught by Ridley Jacobs in the first innings, it was Jacob's seventh dismissal. Thus he became the first West Indian and fourth wicket-keeper in Test history since 1887. He equalled the record of taking seven catches by a wicket-keepers
