Wrestler Sonam Malik defeated China's Long Jia to claim the bronze medal in the women's freestyle 62kg at the Asian Games.
This is India's 91st medal at the Asian Games. With more assured medals over the final two days, India's medal tally is set to go past the magical 100 mark for the first time ever in the history of the Asian Games.
India are assured of three medals in archery, two in Kabaddi, while there are atleast a medal atleast ensured in men's cricket, men's hockey, badminton and bridge.
This will only be the second time when India go past the 100-medals mark at a mega event, having won 101 medals at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games.
