Sharath Kamal wins TT singles GOLD

Veteran Sharath Kamal won his third gold medal of the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games as he triumphed in the table tennis men's singles.

Kamal beat England's Liam Pitchford 4-1 (11-13, 11-7, 11-2, 11-6, 11-8) to win the men's singles title.

He had earlier won the gold medal in the mixed doubles with Sreeja Akula and the men's team gold medal.
