Manika Batra got the better of Great Britain's Tin Tin Ho 4-0 in the opening round of her singles match at the Tokyo Olymics. It's a 3rd consecutive win for Manika against the British player.

Manika will next face World No 32 Ukraine's Margaryta Pesotska.

Earlier, weightlifter Mirabai Chanu gave India's it's first medal at the Tokyo Olympics, winning a silver in 49 kg category.
