In the hockey men's Pool A match India to face a daunting task against New Zealand. 

New Zealand won its first penalty corner and Kane Russell converts it with precision in the 6th minute of the match. 

In no time Rupinder Pal won a penalty stroke from a penalty corner and he sent New Zealand keeper Leon Hayward the wrong way from close range to equalise.
