Sunrisers retain Afghanistan's Rashid for Rs. 9 crore

Afghanistan's spin sensation Rashid Khan with a base price of Rs. 2 crore.

He gets the opening bid from Kings XI Punjab before Rajasthan Royals come into the picture as they double the price to Rs. 4 crore.

Delhi Daredevils come into the fray with a 4.6 crore as Rajasthan pull out but Punjab keep going strong.

Ultimately the bid crosses the 5 crore mark with Punjab desperate to get hold of Rashid and they take it as high as Rs. 7 crore.

Delhi nearly bag Rashid for Rs. 7 crore before RCB enter the bidding at Rs. 7.2 crore and continue to take the bid upwards.

Punjab come back into the picture with 7.8 crore and RCB take it higher to Rs. 8 crore and further to Rs. 9 crore.

RCB pull out as Punjab bag Rashid Khan for Rs. 9 crore but Sunrisers have the RTM option, which they enforce to buy back the leg-spinner.
