Arpinder leads triple jump

The men's triple jump even continues and the 3rd attempt starts.

Arpinder's jump in the 3rd attempt looks fantastic and fantastic it is, jumping a distance of 16.77m. He continues to lead the pack with that effort.

After the first attempt, Rakesh Babu records 16.21 m.

Arpinder Singhs first effort is marked invalid for overstepping.


In his second attempt, Babu goes into the lead with a jump of 16.40m.

Arpinder follows and this time it's a valid jump and he records a jump of 16.58m.

That puts India in 1-2 after 2 attempts.

Earlier, Dutee Chand continued to light the track on fire with a silver medal in the 200m finals.
