21:12   Paralympics - Russia banned from Rio Games over doping

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) on Sunday banned all Russians from its own Games next month because of the widespread doping culture that it says has polluted sport in the country.
The IPC announced the decision to suspend the Russian Paralympic Committee in Rio, saying that Russia's Paralympians were part of a broken system that stems from the Russian government.

Good evening and welcome to live coverage of the events featuring the Indian atheletes on Day II at the Rio Olympics.

In the women's 10m Air Pistol event things are looking bleak for Heena Sidhu. 

The Indian shooter scored 96 in the third series and is currently ranked 25th.

Meanwhile, in the men's trap shooting event Kynan Chenai is currently placed 12th while Manvajit Singh Sandhu is 13th, this after the opening round.
