'I am working on an animated porno film which is a comedy'Bombay, 1 June, 2001: Director Joy Augustine appeared on the Chat immediately after a private screening of his latest film Paagalpan and was anxious to talk about it. He stayed on for well over an hour, having a great time describing his film and emphasising that the first half of the movie is completely different from the second.

So much so that I have got an A certificate at the censor boad. prat : why do choose new faces for yur film Mr Joy Augustine : Love stories work best with new faces. I love working with raw performances and while shooting with these brilliant newcomers I end up learning so much from them, its fun working with them. ANANDVP : HI JOY,,,, how different is pagaalpaan w.r.t tere mere sapnay Mr Joy Augustine : Tere Mere Sapne was a film about two young people who wanted to live the others life, it was a fun film. Paagalpan as the title suggests begins off a fun film and then grows to be an intense love story with extreme emotions. ANANDVP : joy, pl comment on the music of the film pagalpaan Mr Joy Augustine : Raju Singh the music director has done a brilliant job with the songs and the background music. He is a student of R D Burman nothing more I need to say. The student of the God himself anjali : sir the movie was great Mr Joy Augustine : Where did u see the film? ANANDVP : tell me three good reasons why all teens must watch ur latest movie pagalpaan Mr Joy Augustine : Its a brilliant screenplay, lovely emotions and wonderful performances. I all a film where every department has worked at a very emotional level. Its a VIOLENT love story ANANDVP : hindi movies donot need story ... yet i expect one good story in pagalpaan Mr Joy Augustine : You can count on that. So two diff scripts are I'm sure not competing with one another at all.
