frank : Neeta, are u the Lulla before the storm?
Ms Neeta Lulla : Almost the calm lulla before the storm.

gopi : Neeta what do u think on Women's day?
Ms Neeta Lulla : I think it's an honour to be given a whole day to women. i think women should have a blast on this day.

Ms Neeta Lulla : hi!

bebo : Hi Neeta how come you get more publicity than other designers- What strategy d'you follow. we know you send gifts to all editors Is that right?
Ms Neeta Lulla : I follow the stategy of doing hard work which gets noticed.

joy : WHAT KIND OF DRESSES U DESIGN
Ms Neeta Lulla : A fusion of Indian and Western wear.

bebo : A dress for karisma-hasn't karisma diospensed with her services. karismas clothes are designed by rebello now not Lulla
Ms Neeta Lulla : Your right. Karisma and I stopped working after her film Krishna, for which I designed her clothes.

frank : Neeta, what's so unique about your designs that your competitors don't have?
Ms Neeta Lulla : I work on the garments keeping in mind the client who's going to be wearing it. Whether my client is going to be comfortable wearing it, whether it suits her personality and her complexion.

hari : so neeta,is it a straight world u work in?
Ms Neeta Lulla : So far so good, if you put in a lot of hard work and effort in the clothes you design, people give you a lot of respect and take your work seriously.

faby : hi neeta do u have a boutique .. where can one get a dress designed from u
Ms Neeta Lulla : I have a studio from where I work but no boutique. I plan to have an outlet of my own very soon.

ditto : are you that MTV "lulla" dudes wife ?
Ms Neeta Lulla : No.

bksingh : neeta what do u feel is the future of fashion in india ...
Ms Neeta Lulla : The future of fashion in India is very bright, considering that a lot of international designers are looking at India for inspiration, fabrics and embroidary as well. Indian fashions are also getting noticed globally and designers from India are being accepted as serious fashion businessmen.

frank : Neeta, do designers also get the stick after having worked hard on a design? Tell your experience.
Ms Neeta Lulla : Yes, they do, especially in cases of films where a film takes a long time to be made. in that case, styles go out of fashion and the films that are release along with an old film look more new andhappening and the brunt is faced by the designer.

Ravi : Hi neeta, Beautiful women's and lovely dress , are they complement of each other?
Ms Neeta Lulla : I think a lovely dress definately compliments a beautiful woman, provided it has the right colour and the right cut.

bebo : Mahima says that the only hardwork you follow is to screw all directors like Raj Kanwar. So she threw you out. Is that right. Mahima says instead of doing her clothes you'd be pawing Raj Kanwar so he gave you all his films. Sad isn't it on womens day women behave so badly and all for a few rupees.
Ms Neeta Lulla : If that is what Mahima thinks, it is her perogative. All the best to her.

Ravi : Neeta, What do you think up to which extent your fashion garment makes Heroine's hit for role in given situation in film?
Ms Neeta Lulla : Garments designed according to the character enhance the character and help the heroine to project the character better on screen, thus making very essential that the look is right and definately makes the heroines hit for a role.

spice : why is it that aishwarya insists on having u as her sole designer??
Ms Neeta Lulla : Every artist is comfortable with their designers because having worked with them over a long period of time, you know the cuts and the fits that suit them. Thus I think most of the stars insist on working with their designers.

sunny : HEY LULLA DO U BELIEVE IN DETERMINATION OR LUCK
Ms Neeta Lulla : Both.

Ms Neeta Lulla : First of all, you need formal training, so you need to join up a fashion institute. This is the most elementary and essential part of fashion designing to know the basic and techniques of designing.

bksingh : neeta which actress is/was best to work with ...
Ms Neeta Lulla : Sridevi and Aishwarya have been a pleasure to work with because these are the 2 artists who can carry off any outfit very well.

frank : Neeta, how would you suggest a novice to appreciate fashion (or a dress) to look for what??
Ms Neeta Lulla : If you see a colour or an outfit complimenting the wearer, that is right style for the person wearing it.

ritu : which is the latest colour these days?
Ms Neeta Lulla : Pastels are in but definately making way for bright colours. The most happening colours are shades of pink.

chetan : each woman has her own perspective towards an ideal dress, how does a designer prepare for to dress diff. actresses
Ms Neeta Lulla : This is exactly why a designer has to work with an artist keeping in mind what would suit the artist, what the artist is comfortable wearing and what colours would suit the complexion. This makes every actress wear different kinds of outfits. If a desgner didn't keep this in mind, every actress would be looking the same.

atl : am a common man, would design outfit for my wife,Have ever considered design outfits for common people of India
Ms Neeta Lulla : The clothes that I design are made accoeding to the budget of the client. As far as branding ready to wear line, I have not thought about it so far.

g.ravichandra : hai neeta,what make u a fashion designer
Ms Neeta Lulla : Not wanting to do an acedemic course like MA, I opted for a more practical course like fashion designing because I like experimenting with fabrics and colours.

Ms Neeta Lulla : Anupama Khera: Every artist and designer consult with each other on the look for the films. This does not mean that the artist is designing even in the case of main stream design, the client has to be consulted for the kind of colours or styles the client woulf like to wear. This does not mean the client is designing the garments.
