Ashok: Yes he takes my advice in everything he does. As far as his career is concerned, I only guide him as to which film to do and to which director to work with. But he hears the scripting and the story and finalises that without asking me, because I have left that choice to him.

Rajeshwari: Hrithik is a very simple boy. He is very sincere and his simplicity and sincerity shows on screen. That is the reason when people see him or when they will see him, they will find that he is a very genuine boy and the character what he has played in the film comes out very clean. Talent is in him because when he worked a a child artiste in my film called Bhagwan Dada I realised then that he has inborn talents and it was then that I had decided to launch him as an actor at the right time after he finishes his education.

Aparajita: I had joined the industry as an assistant director so that I could learn more about what happens behind the camera and then I became an actor. But it was always there in me to direct movies. Because that is the ultimate. So after finishing my career as an actor I slowly switched over to direction which was my first love and the switchover was not difficult because all throughout my acting career I was concentrating -- with all the directors I worked -- as to how films are made.

Begum: No the film is not based in Singapore. I had come to Singapore to book a cruise ship which was the requirement of the script and I did book Sun Vista, but then I found a better-looking ship called Star Flyer from Florida and we shot in that ship from Bombay to Phuket (Thailand). Ashok: See, I am basically a filmmaker and I would give first preference to my film. It required two newcomers, so I took my son and Amisha in the lead roles, but I never had at any given time thought of launching my son without a story. I always thought he should just appear in a film and leave a mark, then to make a film with him where I show him jumping from 30 floors, riding a motor bike, fighting 50 people. My film is a very natural film where the hero is a simple boy, and how the hero and heroine fall in love and what happens then and to leave a mark and to be appreciated in a simple film just with your talent is more difficult than to take help of all the stunts. I wanted them to be appreactiated by you all as good actors and they will surely justify this in the film. Watch it and let me know.

Karl: KNPH is a love story with a thriller angle in it which moves the story ahead. I didn't select this story to launch Hrithik because I felt the story is good and I as a filmmaker could justify the story and because the story required two newcomers, I took Hrithik and Amisha because I feel the picture in totality runs and if the picture is well made even the actors shine, so I went ahead with a story which gave both the hero and heroines ample scope to prove their acting talent.

Aranya: Yes, even if I were a superstar I would have directed and produced my own films because an actor is a puppet in a director's hand. He cannot do anything beyond the director and a director is he who paints the whole film in his mind and brings it on celluloid. So when the film is appreciated, there is more satisfaction. That is why when I was an actor I didn't get a chance to work with good directors, and somewhere I felt I'm not growing, so I switched over from acting to direction.

Tia: I fully agree with you that Khoobsurat was a good film, but my choice is Kaamchor, again with K. As far as the K fixation goes, it is when I was making Jag Utha Insaan some fan wrote to me that you should name your films with K because all your films with K has done well -- to name a few Khoobsurat, Kamchor, Khel Khel Mein, Khatta Meetha, Khandaan etc. I didn't believe and I made Jag Utha Insaan and Bhagwan Dada, and then just by chance I made Khudgarz and that was a big success and establised me as an director. So that fan wrote to me, this time you listened to me and you are seeing the results, and I thought I have to name films, so why not with 'K' -- and that's how the K factor stands.

Swetha: My job is to make a good film, I cannot make a hit or a flop. That all depends on the audience. As my earlier hit flms don't affect me my flop films also don't affect me. We are doing a professional job with utmost sincerity, so we don't get distracted by people who feel jealous or feel happy on your failure and success.
