The Mira Nair Chat

1997 was ushered in on the Rediff Chat with the eloquent Mira Nair as the year's first guest. Mira had problems logging in from Kampala, Uganda, where she lives with her husband and son, but she hung on gamely, logging into the Small Smoke Filled Cafe when browser problems barred her entry into the Mira Nair Chat, then logging in under her husband's surname!

As always, Mira was articulate, passionate about her work, and forceful. The transcript is a treat to read.
