A P Kamath: I didn't start as a director I produced the first film The Creation of woman which was nominated for Oscar. James Ivory and my partntership is very unique we share creative responsibility together . As a role I'm the producer he is the director and I wanted to find the right subject my first feature film and In Custody was my first feature film, and I will continue to direct if the subject excited me .
