Harshad Mehta,
Aren't you ashamed for having triggered the scam which has ruined several middle class families? suitcase mog! (Mon Mar 3 21:09:37 1997 IST):
Hello Raven : Me, I'm just the mog here, most shows. There's plenty of me, usually I get a 'specialist' about the guest of the day and let him/her join me/us.
Usually the 'specialists' have their facts right but don't want to declare themselves.
Incidentally, we (the mogs...)got quoted in the Indian Express on Sunday in a reference to the Shobha De show, did you get that Nikhil/Suparn? Man we mogs are FAMOUS....Mehta Sahib, were our questions uncomfortable? They were'nt below your belt, so just one question, WHY DID YOU GO TO BANGALORE ON 03rd FEBRUARY '97 (you weren't even carrying a briefcase, , one of the mogs noticed....) sharad (Mon Mar 3 21:10:11 1997 IST):
With the Stock exchanges going on line, will ther be
chances of a bigger scam, with insiders, fiddling
with the computers, as it has happened in the west, though with
the banks. Raven (Mon Mar 3 21:10:26 1997 IST):

the present budget has reduced the customs duty and excise duty , by which the imports will be much cheaper than what is prodcued in india , the indian compnaies are not of global volume and as such facing a tough competition and this have adverse effect on their working , mostly they will be uneconomical putting dismal results , in what way their share prices will go up , their fundamental are weak , only on technical ground how long will they maintain their price by jugglery of cornering and jacking up the prices artificially. what is your opinion about this. sharad (Mon Mar 3 21:15:24 1997 IST):

Harshad Mehta, can u identify any potential multi-bagger ?? Harshad Mehta (Mon Mar 3 21:19:56 1997 IST):
Arvind: Our low P/E multiples clearly brings out how our stocks are rated very cheaply compared to international standards. Low interest rates are likely to make our products competitive, cheap and exportable. Harshad Mehta (Mon Mar 3 21:20:17 1997 IST):
Last five questions! M G Damani (Mon Mar 3 21:20:47 1997 IST):
Harshad bhai, I am impressed by your answers now , I think your approach towards spirituality has helped you!!! Cynthia Stegner (Mon Mar 3 21:20:52 1997 IST):
Harshad, one thing that bothers many American
investors is the casual approach to the rules
of the game in your country. In that sense, India is
just as bad as China. When can we expect total
transparency in transactions with India? arvind (Mon Mar 3 21:20:58 1997 IST):
what is your opinion on HDFC , from 2750 it now 3500 , will it further go up , pls. advise Mohammed Saleem (Mon Mar 3 21:21:15 1997 IST):
Mr Harshsd Mehta: Are you planning to become Industrialist if so why not take over Indian American Group of Companies. Use your portfolio Management skill and make them FERA Company. IOAL Group claim to have have collaboration with France and Korean Giants with buyback facilities but they are unable to show any progress. Shares are licking dust on floors of BSE and NSE after touching high of Rs.140. It seem are in dire need of portfolio Management skill. PHd Doctors in Medicine are unfit to manage the group of global vision. thanks

harshad mehta to gussa kyon aata hai !? sharad (Mon Mar 3 21:21:50 1997 IST):
Mr. Mehta, I understand that the SENSEX in India is
linked to a handful of shares, which are "manupilated"
by some insiders - does that mean that the index
is not the REAL pulse of the market, but an
artificial indication of the selected few !
Does this effect the market as a whole ??
