Karthick: Yes, some time in May next year.-Hari LAVANYA (Thu Nov 7 22:11:59 1996 IST):

it and want to know more about it. Reggie Dwight (Thu Nov 7 22:12:01 1996 IST):
Hey guys, I am just giving you some advice. After all, I should know, right? Muthusamy Veerapan (Thu Nov 7 22:14:27 1996 IST):
Hariharansaar, Namaskaram. Naan
Muthusamy Veerapan. MM Hills Veerappan
thaan. Neenge Tamil theruyum,
Lewis Tamil theryuma? FusionBuff (Thu Nov 7 22:14:48 1996 IST): Hey, you haven't sung for us yet. Suchitra sang for us when she was on the show.
Do you want to know how one sings on the Net? LEZZ (Thu Nov 7 22:15:18 1996 IST):
FusionBuff: The story is a simple one about all musicians. When you're little, your teacher trains you to sing but you want to do your own thing. The same happened to us. When you grow up, you are a performing musician so that's what we are doing every day. And one day you hope to win the Grammies and be up there with the biggies! Very simple story! The dream of every musician. karthick (Thu Nov 7 22:15:30 1996 IST):
In a recent interview for "The Filmfare" Rehman had
said that he has used an 'acoustical base' rather
than his usual 'electronic base' for the film
'Anantham' for 3 songs. Do you sing in one/all of
those songs ? If yes, can you share with me how
different it is from his rest of his stuff ? Richard Starkey (Thu Nov 7 22:15:48 1996 IST):
WHERE ARE THE COUSINS? HARI (Thu Nov 7 22:15:59 1996 IST):
Lavanya: I had inborn talents which was polished under training. I learnt music under my Mom, Shrimati Alamelu Mani, and Hindustani classical music under Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. Muthusamy Veerapan (Thu Nov 7 22:16:35 1996 IST):
Hariharansaar, ee Grammy aare? Lewis missus? LEZZ (Thu Nov 7 22:16:37 1996 IST):
FusionBuff: This one's for you - 'Sa-ni-dha-pa-ma-ga-ma-ga-re-sa'. FusionBuff (Thu Nov 7 22:17:02 1996 IST):
Just walking in the rain
How's that for a Jim Reeves rendition? Nowhere Man (Thu Nov 7 22:17:46 1996 IST):
Come on guys, let us have some jazz. LAVANYA (Thu Nov 7 22:18:37 1996 IST):
are you two planning doing future albums
together? HARI (Thu Nov 7 22:18:40 1996 IST):
Muthusamy Veerappan: Namaskaram. Hari ki Tamil therium, Leslie ki theriyada. HARI (Thu Nov 7 22:19:27 1996 IST):
Fusionbuff: Mind blowing!:-) LEZZ (Thu Nov 7 22:19:31 1996 IST):
Mutthusamy: Namaskaram from Lezz! That's the extent of my Tamil. Pudhiya is the only other word I know because I do so many Tamil ad jingles and Pudhiya seems to be in every one of them. I guess everything is new. Muthusamy Veerapan (Thu Nov 7 22:19:32 1996 IST):
Hariharansaar: Nenge Greatest! John McLaughlin (Thu Nov 7 22:20:06 1996 IST):
LEZ, since u r HARI's colonial cousin. Pray translate that alien tongue?Muthusamy Veerapan (Thu Nov 7 22:20:16 1996 IST):
Lesliesaar: Nenge second greatest. Harisaar Tamil than avar than Greatest! Nowhere Man (Thu Nov 7 22:21:24 1996 IST):
What do you think of Rehman? I think he is overrated. His music is repetitive, and boy he seems to have learnt by rote every bloody note from Pink Floyd! LEZZ (Thu Nov 7 22:22:02 1996 IST):
Lavanya: We hope to release a new album mid-next year. Colonial Cousins is a band (such as Steely Dan etc) and so will obviously be together. FusionBuff (Thu Nov 7 22:22:04 1996 IST):
I think we should have more of these music chats - HEY REDIFF GUYS ARE YOU LISTENING?
These music types seem to be a lot more casual and fun than the more serious business and politic types :-)
FusionBuff (Thu Nov 7 22:23:37 1996 IST):
NowhereMan: I'm curious - which songs of ARR have notes from PF - I seem to have missed them! LAVANYA (Thu Nov 7 22:23:47 1996 IST):
any plans for a future album together? hari and lewis Muthusamy Veerapan (Thu Nov 7 22:23:50 1996 IST):
Saar, don't think please I not speak English. I do. In MM Hills, I speak best English. You come to MM Hills sometime saars. I give you nice sandalwood. LEZZ (Thu Nov 7 22:24:35 1996 IST):
Fusionbuff: May be, a funky bass line, a nice hip-hop groove and Hari doing a couple of alaaps, could just make that the next hit. Nowhere Man (Thu Nov 7 22:24:44 1996 IST):
Fusionbuff: Virtually every one of them. They won't be intelligble to someone who sings Jim Reeves. For Chrissakes! HARI (Thu Nov 7 22:25:27 1996 IST):
Nowhere Man: Rehman has brought about a new wave in Indian film music. He might be sounding repetitive in certain songs, but if you hear his music from Roja, Indira, Anandam, Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa, sounds different, is different from movies such as Kaadil Desam, Hindustani, Kadalam. His music definitely changes according to the theme of the film. To get inspired and follow Pink Floyd sounds good, and one needs talent to do that also. LAVANYA (Thu Nov 7 22:26:03 1996 IST):
super! i can;t wait to listento this one
and am looking forward to the next one already.
thanks guys. good luck in all you do. we here
want to listen to more of your music.
hair: keep singing in tamil movies, and ofcourse

Any plans to follow Indus Creed and have a homepage on the net ???? LEZZ (Thu Nov 7 22:27:14 1996 IST):
Bye Lavanya. Love, Lezz and Hari. Richard Starkey (Thu Nov 7 22:27:22 1996 IST):
Hari: What are the interesting songs you have done for Hindi films recently? Muthusamy Veerapan (Thu Nov 7 22:27:53 1996 IST):
Neenge, ignore pana rah. Tata! Hip-hop (Thu Nov 7 22:27:57 1996 IST):
Lezz: What happened in Delhi, man! Why was your show cancelled? And why did those guys behave like that with you? HARI (Thu Nov 7 22:28:08 1996 IST):
Richard: Nothin in these past few months, been very busy with Colonial shows. LEZZ (Thu Nov 7 22:28:45 1996 IST):
JustPeeking: We'd love to. We've been asked a couple of times but it takes so much time to put it together and considering Hari's flying around India most of the time, we have managed it yet. But we keep the faith. HARI (Thu Nov 7 22:29:01 1996 IST):
Hip-hop: Bad day! Cannot pinpoint the reason as to why it happened. Maybe different wavelengths. Richard Starkey (Thu Nov 7 22:29:05 1996 IST):
Please give us your opinion of Alisha, Baba, Dalher, Jasmine, Mehnaz, Suchitra.... LEZZ (Thu Nov 7 22:29:57 1996 IST):
Richard: All India's premier pop artists - that's what they are! Sa-ni-dha-pa (Thu Nov 7 22:29:58 1996 IST):
Hari: I thought you were the South's answer to Yesudas! So what happened? Why did you get into all this and ditch us? Nowhere Man (Thu Nov 7 22:30:27 1996 IST):
Hari: You used to sing some great stuff for Hindi films. Tell me, how come you never made it big? Was it because you don't push yourself? The way someone like Mumar Sanu does. Or is it because you didn't have the staying power like your fellow Tamil Kavita K does? HARI (Thu Nov 7 22:30:46 1996 IST):
Sa-ni-dha-pa: What do you want me to do? Advise please. Richard Starkey (Thu Nov 7 22:30:55 1996 IST):
Lezz: The IFS could have used you, for sure! Hip-hop (Thu Nov 7 22:31:01 1996 IST):
Not good enough, Hari! Lezz, we were waiting for you guys! LAVANYA (Thu Nov 7 22:31:10 1996 IST):
nowhere man
you should go to the world where no music
ever exist.

you guys are the best JustPeeking (Thu Nov 7 22:31:45 1996 IST):
Lezz, I am the person who did it for Indus Creed, so if U are planning to do it probably I can help Brian Aldiss (Thu Nov 7 22:31:48 1996 IST):
Hasn't ABCL got in touch with you? To sing for Big B? What do you think of Aby Baby? Ladka ko koi future hain? Sa-ni-dha-pa (Thu Nov 7 22:31:54 1996 IST):
Get back to us, man! We know your worth! Brian Aldiss (Thu Nov 7 22:32:08 1996 IST):
Hasn't ABCL got in touch with you? To sing for Big B? What do you think of Aby Baby? Ladka ko koi future hain? HARI (Thu Nov 7 22:32:17 1996 IST):
NowhereMan: Film music interests me to a certain point; people call me to sing songs which mostly suit me and I leave it at that. I am interested in doing creative work, my own music. Nowhere Man (Thu Nov 7 22:32:44 1996 IST):
Lavanya: We love you. Come back. All is forgiven! Photograph: Jewella Miranda
