The B B Ramaiah ChatA N Donald (Fri Apr 18 20:37:00 1997 IST):
Could you give us some insight into Nara Chandrababu Naidu? What kind of man is he? I want to know
because he may be our next PM. L L James (Fri Apr 18 20:37:48 1997 IST):
We have had two prime ministers from the South. Don't you think it is time for a North Indian to get a chance?
Why should G K Moopanar or Chandrababu Naidu
become PM? B B RAMAIAH (Fri Apr 18 20:38:23 1997 IST):
A N Donald: Mr Naidu is a very intensive organiser. And he maintains high stability in politics and administration and implementation of policies. And he has got excellent coordinative capacity within the state and within the country. That is why he is playing an important role even at the time of a national crisis by organising the UF. And even with the present crisis, he is playing an important role and bringing back the whole government back to play an important role for this country's econmy and political stability in the present circumstances. L L James (Fri Apr 18 20:38:27 1997 IST):
Do you think it is constitutionally and morally correct for the Budget to be passed in Parliament next week after
the government has been voted out of office? I think it is shameful that the Constitution is being so violated. Will
your new government, Sir, present a fresh Budget if it is sworn in next week? A N Donald (Fri Apr 18 20:38:48 1997 IST):
Thank you, Mr Donald. A N Donald (Fri Apr 18 20:39:11 1997 IST):
Sorry, that's my rum speaking. That should read, thank you minister! A N Donald (Fri Apr 18 20:39:53 1997 IST):
Will you become CM if he becomes PM? Or will
Ashok Gajapati get the chance? Indian (Fri Apr 18 20:40:48 1997 IST):
Mr Ramaiah, Why coalition governments in India has been a failure at the Center? Do you think Indian politics is not matured enough for the coalition governments? akash (Fri Apr 18 20:40:49 1997 IST):
Ramaiah, how long before the next PM is pulled down by the greedy Congress and the even greedier Kesri? B B RAMAIAH (Fri Apr 18 20:43:02 1997 IST):
Prakash: I cannot answer the question so easily because Mr Naidu is now interacting with all the leaders of UF at Andhra Pradesh guesthouse from where I have come to participate in this chat. We are trying to find from all the leaders who is more acceptable to all leaders and he will announce the name tomorrow. Prakash Patel (Fri Apr 18 20:43:57 1997 IST):
Dr Rammaih: Okay I avccpet your answer but who is YOUR CHOICE FOR THE NEXT PM AND WHY??? B B RAMAIAH (Fri Apr 18 20:46:09 1997 IST):
Prakash: He is running the government as caretaker PM and without taking any measures as per the guidelines of the President of India. Prey (Fri Apr 18 20:47:32 1997 IST):
Dr Rammaih: Where do you see India in the 21st century ecomonically and politically? B B RAMAIAH (Fri Apr 18 20:47:59 1997 IST):
Prakash: I am sorry that I cannot make any choice because Mr Naidu is making the analysis from all the leaders of all the parties. Indian (Fri Apr 18 20:48:50 1997 IST):
Mr Ramaiah, It is said that Congress has given enough indications about their plans of the withdrawl. Did Mr. Deve Gowda ignored them? Can you put some light on the whole contoversy? Prey (Fri Apr 18 20:49:09 1997 IST):
Dr Rammaih do you to sway with the view that the Gandhi family hold the key to a stable government? Do you think that Rahul or Priyanka or Sonia Gandhi should enter politics simply cashing on the gooodwill of the deseased Gandhi leaders?? B B RAMAIAH (Fri Apr 18 20:50:27 1997 IST):
Ajit: The Federal Front is only a combination of rural parties. Each state has a priority for the rural party and we only work for each state. When it comes to the Centre, we will work together to gain reasonable powers for the states under the Sarkaria Commission. In an election indvidual parties will work separately since each state has different issues. Prey (Fri Apr 18 20:52:37 1997 IST):
Dr Rammaih : DO YOU THINK THERE WILL BE A BREAK-UP IN THE CONGRESS PARTY SOON? WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE FUTURE OF SITARAM KESRI? Jamboi (Fri Apr 18 20:56:34 1997 IST):
Hello Sir, its an honour speaking to you, Dr Rammaih sir what are your own political ambitions? B B RAMAIAH (Fri Apr 18 20:57:19 1997 IST):
Prey: We want India to play a very important role both economically and politically in the international and global system. And we hope that in the 21st century India will able to expand substanitally in industrial production and export oriented development. And that our country's economy will improve substantially since we are planning that our GDP growth will be more than 7 %. And we also hope that industrial production will grow more than 10-12%. And our reserves will also grow substanitally, and our inflation we will try to control at a reasonable level since our thrust is on the more development oriented . And we are linked with the World Trade Organisation and our expansion in software and electronics is going very fast. And also agricultural development is also improving. And our aim is to have surplus in exports than imports so that we have more stability in our economy. EVERYONE: THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR GIVING ME AN OPPORTUNITY TO INTERACT WITH ALL NRIS AND I HOPE NEXT TIME I WILL HAVE VOICE RECORDING TYPE OF INTERNET INTERACTION. THANK YOU. GOOD BYE.
