Sunny" Yeah Robin Singh is a good one day player he should ahve played much more cricket than what he has played and I'm glad he is back in the Indian side after a lapse of seven years. He is a useful cricketer for any one day side.

Jimmy Sir, What are your plans for future? Are you interested managing our national team if given a chance?

Jimmy, what would your selection be to south africa ? primarily, who would you select as your bowling attack, and your openers, in the 16 ?

Mr. Amarnath, I would like to know your views on Quota system, why do many times players have to change the zones to get attention of selectors, is this not because of quota system??

leg stump>> Yeah, Mr Amarnath is still around, he's taking one of the questions now...

Prem: It is rather sad that players of Manjrekars and Sidhu's calibre cannot find place in the team but I'm sure atleast one of these two will go to SA because over there is going to be totally different because of hard and fast wickets, they would be needing player with guts and more detremination apart from technique, I have a lot of fate in the present team but some of the players have to change their technique to handle wickets on a faster pace, facing fast baller is like facinbg a heavy wieght boxer in a ring where you need your guts than anything else I hope the current team work on their technique before they leave for south africa to do well against fast ballers. Its very depressing when you are out of the team but its not the end of their career as ssuch the only way one can make a comeback is to keep scoring in whatever game he is involved with and the only way tyou can prove them wrong is to go in the middle and score heavily and I believe one thing in life that if you have bad day you'll have a good day as well so one has to keep trying.

mr. amarnath how exactly do you rank the india team now?

Cric8wala: This is the job of the selectors to select the 16 and I would like to make it vet clear over here that I would not like to be a selector because I would not like to be callled a joker but one thing I got to saty that we got to have the regular recognised open batsmen if we have to mdo well In south Africa.

Smith: At the moment I'm quite busy with television I will be covering the next two series in SA and WI and as per as managing the side I would definately consider it if I get the offer.

What is your prediction about the forthcoming series against South Africa. Do you think our batsmen would be able to stand against their bowling on the fast and bouncy pitches out there.Does Indian victories at home against mighty opponents have any credibility in the light of the fact that when we tour other countries, we inevitably end up as the losers.

jimmy: ok :-) but in your opinion, who should be the openers to south africa ? (and what are your comments on the team to rsa, since it must have been selected a couple of hours ago - hw dont know what it is yet :-)

Lavanya: I think it is a good young side and the good thing about this team is we have young players and a good young captain if we can stick to this team for the next two years we will be as good as any other team in world cricket team

jimmy: ive always wanted to ask you this. about 3 yrs ago, i had heard that harsha bhogle was working with you on your autobiography. is it out yet ? going to be out soon ? we would love to read it :-)

Mr Amarnath; Are you completely retired now or you still hope to reenter Indian cricket?

Saju : Its going to be tough and hard for India because the Indain batsmen definitely play the best cricket at home. The reason being the wickets are slow and low bounce helps their technique and style of play but if they have to do well in SA they have to be good backfoot players which we don't have too many in this side. So that's why I suggested earlier that they have to change their technique if they have do well in SA. I think the initial games will be very important, because if they do well in the early games definitely that confidence will help them during the series. I do not rate SA as a great batting line-up but their bowling is definitely going to bother the Indian players .

Sanjiv: Well you can only play upto a certain age and time I'm completely retired from the game and I'm not getting any younger everyday .

Jimmy, We have been running a musical chair for the opening slot, Whom do you see as the potential openners for the next series os RSA?

mr. amarnath what was the main push for you to come back so many times?

Hey jimmy how's retired life treating you?? What are you upto nowadays?? How is the match preperation coming along?? still embroiled in contraversies?? how do you manage to attract problems everytime `, i really feel sorry for you at times. But seriously tell us what's happening??

Cric8wala: I would say that it is almost ready but I have been tied up with lot of other activities and thats why I have been unable to release my autobiography at the moment I'm quite tied up with my benefit match with is coming up ion the 14th of dECEMBER i'LL BE RELEASing two other books on this ocasion, one is a coaching book which explains all aspects of the game and the other book talks about Mohinder Amarnath articles written by players all over the world.

Lavanya: I just wanted to prove those people that I was goood enough to be in the side the only way you can do is you can keep on scoring runs if you are a bowler and keep on taking wickets if you are a bowler.

Jimmy or Prem : Can you please give us the 16 to RSA if you have..Thanks..we are dying to hear that news :-)

Shail: I don't think they ae left with many choice over here they should take Navjot Singh Sidhu to SA we have to just wait and see what sort of opening batsmen they finallly decide to take .

mr. amarnath what is your opinion of the seletors of the indian team?

Jimmy, can you share some of your memorable moments of the '83 world cup triumph?

Leg Stump: I'm qite happy the way things are happening I thing problems will go with me as long I'm around they'll be with me but they don't bother me , maybe the Amarnath name attracts all these controverisies and problems I'm leading a quite comfortable retired life and I'm quite happy and content with what I have i'M NOT A DEMANDING PERSON AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU JUST NEED A GOOD MEAL AND A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP,.

Jimmy you should appear in the rediff live cricket covearge. You and Prem... my God what a pair that will make. Seriously whay don't you consider it. I promise you it will be a terrific experience for all of us back here in the US. Will you pls. consider it???
