Vijay>> Amitabh is definitely NOT number 1-10 anymore. For that matter, we don't have any replacement for Amitabh because nobody has that pulling power. No hero is as consistent in his successes as Amitabh used to be in his heydays. AS for today's stars, there's Sunny Deol, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor and Aamir Khan.

This is the first year in history where all the films I've seen and liked so far are hits. Thanks god!!!

Vandita: He is certainly not ghamandi. But he definitely measures his words very carefully . And ensures that he does not step on anybody's toes and speaks only where necessary. This is the reason why the impression of ' ghamand ' is noticed by certain people not knowing him from closer quarters.

Why are Indian movies three hours long?

Ramesh, I have always been intrigued by how you distributors make money. Could you explain the mechanism of distributing a film?

Mr. Sippy, I am from Bangalore, tell me why did AB make promises to Spastic Society and troubled them when it came to money (although the matter is settled, they say). I believe he has not paid even the police for the security during Miss World. I think its downright cheap and unethical for a person like him to do such a thing and that too to a organisation like SS. Why do these big people behave so badly ?

He is NOT snappy in real life, but yes, in his interviews, he tries to be painfully guarded which can be very irritating to the interviewer. Mangal>> Yes, I agree with you. Govinda, today, is the best all-rounder we have. He fits into all types of roles. Perhaps the only reason why he is not getting his due is because the elite audience does not quite like him. And unfortunately, the media tends to air the views more of the elite than the masses.

Vijay>> Major Saab is approximately 75 per cent complete as of today. To think it will be shelved is wishful thinking. Yes, what can be shelved and, in all likelihood, is going to be shelved, is the other Amitabh starrer Aey Watan Tere Liye. Lal Badshah might come before Major Saab. Badshah: One of his major films is by your own name called Lal Badshah. Major Saab and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan are likely to provide the necessary impetus to his career.

SMALL: Any major debacle causes cash flow problem in any industry. More often than not these are overcome by interim finance arranged to continue acquisition of other feature films. The release of these subsequent films either helps you to tide over the cash flow problem or else you close shop.

KOMAL, PLEASE CONFIRM THAT KOYLA IS A SUPERFLOP AND MAKE ME RELIEVED THAT TRASH LIKE IT WILL NEVER BE MADE BY BOLLYWOOD AGAIN.

Is Amitabh afraid of playing his age - I thought he was wonderful in Hum? Why doesn't he stick to those kinds of roles? Roles which show him at his age? Amitabh has so much charisma, so much magnetism that the Indian public has accepted him in these kind of roles. Look at Clint Eastwood, Amitabh could take a leaf out of his book.

MARD>> ABCL and AB both can come out of the trouble if they stop thinking as self-centeredly as they have been. ABCL is a classic case of absolute mismanagement. And AB's career is being manoeuvered behind closed doors with eyes closed to reality. The more Amitabh starts facing reality, the better it will be for him. It is not a finished case but definitely, the modus operandi has to change.

Adivesh: It is yet not certain that Indian has been scraped. Although it is rumoured that they have exhausted their initial finances and therefore are faced with a temporary suspension of further shooting. It is very likely that shooting may resume as soon as the problem of requisite finance is sorted out.

Adivesh>> In Mrityudaata, Amitabh played his age but unfortunately, he played it in letter, not in spirit. Though he played a middle aged doctor, he was fighting like a 20-year-old would. I don't know whether he is scared to play his age or not. But if he is, its bad for him. Because age is showing on his face, and in his movements. And he must realise this.

I'm therefore distributing and acquiring most of my films including Laawaris, Mustafa andMere Sapnon Ki Rani, in my proprietorship concern called Balaji Enterprises.
