RAJIV: I think my earlier question got lost or something. I'll repeat it. What are your top 3 criteria to cast a male and female lead?

Mr Rai, you are honest! tell me wouldn't you like to cast you wife in one of your films.. I think she is very beautiful...

Mr Rai, are you planning to make any films "serious" films? Or you going to stick to only commercials... with all that running around the trees?

Rajiv, on what basis do you choose your actors? do the men have to be macho and the women very feminine..

Agrahara: Why would Hugh Heffner want to see nice pictures? Nice pictures for him would be nudes I suppose if you know WHO he is?
Amitabh Bachchan: You should write to the ABCL Startrack offices. I'm sure AB would sympathise with his namesake.

Tridev: YES, I would, but she doesn't want to act anymore. What a pity!
GOD: No serious films and no running around trees, only commercial films.
Anurag : About your question on criterion for casting, I'll answer it later.

Mr Rai, do you play safe by making films which are either a formula film or something which audience might like? what I mean is would you ever take a risk and make a film other than the ones you are making?

Anurag Sharma: Yes I would consider Akshaye Khanna and he's definitely a big star.

Er, Rai, old chap, it is me, AB himself! Don't tell anyone... I heard you were gonna be on this chat and I though if I came under my own name nobody will really think it was really me... clever of me.. otherwise if somebody saw us talking, there would be gossiping... clever of me, don't you think? Tridev: I take risks all the time. When the film runs it looks easy and commercially viable. But while you are doing it you are never sure

Of the movies you've seen lately which is your favorite? Of the top stars these days who has impressed you the most and in what role? (Please give me one male and one female at least)

You have cast Sunny Deol in two of your films (Tridev and Vishwatma) and now Bobby Deol in Gupt. Do you have a soft corner for the Deols?

Raveena: No I'm not superstitious. I have not publicised my film so that it does not look stale when its ready.
Amitabh Bachchan: Quarter the price? After Mrityudaata, I wouldn't pay you anything.

What is the most challenging aspect of making a movie?

Tridev: Thank god you didn't say I have a hard corner, otherwise it would change my sexual preferences.

The songs in Gupt are not as good as your earlier films? How have they done commercially in India?

Samrat: Pari (don't tell those two girls Nandini and Agrahara)

Anurag: The songs have done better than my last films, maybe not so in Waashington.

Rajiv: What do you consider your best film to be. The most satisfying to you. (Please don't say Gupt as we have not seen it yet and cannot judge)

Amitabh Bachchan: I got an idea, we'll do Jaws Part4.
