Market@May 17: Day's reportDigital was the star perfomer amongst software stocks on Thursday. The stock gained more than 8 per cent. Other stocks also remained firm for a major part of the day. SSI, Infosys, Satyam, Global and Himachal also improved by 2 per cent each. However, the day completley belonged to the old economy counters. HDFC gained 10 per cent. L&T, ACC, RPL, Grasim, Reliance, Telco, Sterlite, Bhel, IPCL and Bajaj Auto also recorded impressive gains. The trading volume was relatively high on both the exchanges. Sensex up 78 points at 3670.
