Market@May 9: Day's reportOverall, a negative day for software stocks. Global, Himachal, Digital and Wipro lost more than 10 per cent each. Infosys, SSI, NIIT, Silverline, and DSQ Software also lost substantially. The performance of old economy counters was relatively better. Reliance, L&T, HLL, Cipla, Gujarat Ambuja and Telco remained firm for a major part of the day. The trading volume was high on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Sensex up 6 points at 3586.
