Market@December 7: Day's report

The sentiment for the software stocks remained mixed on Thursday. With a gain of 7 per cent, Zee Tele was the major gainer. DSQ Soft, Himachal and Satyam also gained more than one per cent each. Infosys however showed a negative close.

In the non-software segment cement stocks remained strong. ACC and Grasim gained smartly. Bhel, Tisco and Telco were in demand.

Sensex up 15 points at 4123, Nifty up 5 points at 1304.
