Usain Bolt of Jamaica successfully defended his Olympic 100m title when he stormed home in 9.63 seconds at the London Olympics.

Fellow Jamaican Yohan Blake finished second with 9.75 seconds while Justin Gatlin of the US took bronze with 9.79 seconds.

Bolt didn't get off a fast start but blazed his way towards the end to send the packed stadium into celebration.
